Hebrews 10:24

“Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.”

For most of my life I have pretty much just gone through the motions and been very happy. I didn’t know how to go after your dreams or visions, primarily because I felt alone, even though I “let people in” I truly didn’t let people in. The devil loves to isolate you! When you’re isolated you don’t have life giving relationships supporting or running alongside you while going after the things God has called you to.

I want to give honor to my bff Kaitlyn for being such a life giving relationship. This year had a lot of first, a lot of growth, a lot of pruning and most of it was uncomfortable. As weird as it may sound, the uncomfortableness of making life altering decisions encompassed so much Peace: I think that’s when you know it’s the right decision. I learned to listen to God and hear how He speaks to me more this year than any year prior. I blame the delay on me hearing the loud clatter from the world for way too long. Thank goodness God brings together people who strengthen one another to bring Him glory.

Kaitlyn has been there for me since the beginning stages of The Makeup Story. When I told her about the vision God had for my business she listened, supported me, but also asked questions. By helping me create a domain in August 2016 she flamed the fire inside me to keep going with the vision I was given. The Makeup Story was inspired by how amazing and valued women should know they are. It’s not about the makeup, it’s an experience.

This story could go on and on forever because of all the amazing support Kaitlyn has provided me through out the year, even being in a tutorial that we never released haha. She always supported me, which meant challenging me many times too- P.S. a real friend doesn’t just agree with you they keep your best interest at heart, even if that means saying “No, I want more than that for my friend”.

Kaitlyn is pretty much my sister, I mean how many of you can say you and your bff have wanted to just chilled in their pjs at 10:00 am, while both reading different books and not even talking, you just wanted each other’s company. Yea, we are so awesome that we don’t even talk. We have that ESPN thing 😉 haha. Anywho, without her I would be no where close to where I am now. Walking on the path God has called you on isn’t easy alone, if it’s even possible. Surround yourself with people who love you, call you out when needed, and love you till pigs fly.

I hope I have been even half as impactful as you have been to me. Love you Kaitlyn!
